Halloween is coming soon!

"Jack o' Latern" comes from the Irish legend of Stingy Jack, a drunkard who bargains with Satan and is doomed to roam the Earth with only a hollowed turnip to light his way.

History of the Jack o' lantern
Many years ago in European folklore, the "will-o'-the-wisp" was a ghost light seen by travelers at night, usually near bogs, swamps, and marshes.
It was known by many names, including jack-o'-lantern, friar's lantern, and hinkypunk. It would mislead travelers by resembling a flickering lamp or lantern.
